T-Ball and Other fun stuff!

So this week Parker had his first T-Ball game! They did good with a rocky start. Most of the players are all new so there was a little of running to 3rd first, not paying attention and the ball coming right to them. Parker did not do any of that though but the thing Parker almost did was run from first to third but got directed in the right direction before he did! Besides that though, Parker did pretty good. Got on base each time at bat. They ended up loosing but it was 10-13! That was great considering it was 1-13 at one time! We are proud of you and can't wait to watch again!
Also as mentioned in the earlier post, Laney took her first steps! And today she is standing up all by herself without holding on! I am sure more steps are coming! Oh and lastnight I got her to say "Nigh Nigh!" So sweet! Today was Crosstie Festival. It is a Jazz and Art Festival that our town has every year. There are fun stuff for kids to do like face painting, crafts and train rides. The rain held off till the afternoon so we got to have some fun this morning! They had fun! Well, Parker got to do all the stuff and Laney well she people watched. The girl is NOSEY!

Getting dressed for my first T-Ball game. Momma was clueless about all this stuff so Daddy got the job!

Below..all dressed and ready to play!

Getting Ready to Hit the ball!

The third baseman waving to his Momma!

Getting his face painted at Crosstie. Don't ask me what he was. Some Frankenstein/vampire thing he said.

Parker having fun at Crosstie painting his tambourine
And Laney eating hers! Parker riding the train with his face all painted!

Trying to stand up! She now has mastered this but this was still in the practice stage!

Parker and Laney playing tea party! Laney got a tea set for her birthday for her age (the teapot sings and it has shapes for the cookies and cakes) and she loves it. I love that they actually can play and love each other so much!

Riding my horsey that Aunt Denise and Uncle Bradley gave me! Love it! I did not think she would know what to do but she did! She must be watching those older kids at school (the 2 year olds) on the playground!
