3 Months Old!

Today Laney is 3 months old! I know I say this all the time but where does the time go! This week she actually laughed out loud at me. I was singing Mary Had a Little Lamb. I know I sound funny! SHe continues to love staying at home with her Mimi. Oh is she going to be sad come August! Parker had a huge week. First, Aunt Celeste took her to her boyfriend's (yes, Celeste has a new man and I think it is serious!). They rode the Mule or whatever you call those things and then shot fireworks. The next day his Nanny and Butch came to visit from Missouri. They still are here but they kept him at Uncle Bradley and Aunt Denise's for a night and he had a ball. They have played outside and then went to Nanny's sisters house AKA Aunt Banana to Parker. He also played golf with Daddy all morning. He has just had a big week! Parker has said some funny things. He tonight out of no where asked if the doctor cut me open. I was confused out first but he was asking about how Laney got here. (Oh Boy!) I told him the truth that no the doctor did not have to cut me open. Of course he wanted to know why and then how did I get baby Laney out. I just said I pushed her out. Thank goodness he did not ask anymore about that. Then he wanted to know what Daddy did during it all. I said "Watched". He then wanted to know what he did with the scissors. That took me a minute but I knew he was talking about Jason cutting the cord. Oh was he full of questions! Then on tv a commercial came on. You know the one I am talking about...the one with the man and woman talking on the bed about the product that has a His and Hers?? Yeah, that one for KY (and I don't mean the state). These people obviously don't have kids putting that stuff on tv. Anyway, Parker wanted to know what that was. I said "It is for adults" He said but "What is that?" I said, 'It is for adults" I wasn't about to attempt to explain this one to a 4 year old! He kept on and on but what is it for?? I just kept with my answer "It is for adults". Finally he gave up. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!! Here are some growing pics of Laney! No pictures of Parker this week. The only one I have of him from the week is when he decided to take off outside in the sprinkler naked! I have one of his little hiney outside but I guess he is to old to be posting those types of pictures. I figure I will keep that one handy for blackmail later on in life!
