Halloween week because that is exactly what it was. We had something every night this week except Thursday night and can I say I am completely worn out! It did not help that Jason is swamped and worked late the entire week so Momma was on her own for all of these trips! Well I did have a bit of help from my wonderful Mom. Can I just say that no Momma should live too far from their own Momma when you have little ones! I love it that is it odd if my kids go one day without seeing their Mimi. Anyway.... first Monday night, we had Halloween Carnival at Laney's school. Somehow too I ended up in charge of it. Well not the entire thing. It is a carnival that the sororities at the college and the Child Development Center sponsor together every year. It is fun for the kids. The sororities do the games and the center does the food. So I was over getting all the food together and serving it. We cooked 150 hot dogs and served up Cheetos, cookies, cupcakes and koolaids. By the end of the night I was a zombie! Tuesday night, Parker's school had a "Hoedown" He goes to a private school that is at a church so they don't do the costumes and stuff but the kids all learn line dances and western songs, dress up like a cowboy and do their little song by the class. Parker' s class was adorable! Wednesday night, we had our church thing. This year they got this awesome petting zoo with all kinds of animals. They had goats, donkeys, a lama, sheep, ducks, turtles and some other animals. They also had a train that took the kids for a ride. The head of the train was Thomas. Parker still likes Thomas but a few years ago he would have just LOVED that! Then there was pizza for everyone. Thursday night, no where to go but we had to carve at least one of our pumpkins. After that, I was sleeping by 9. Do you blame me. Don't forget my week and weekend I had before (see post below). Friday since Laney's school is at the college, they trick or treat around campus . I had a conference call that day so I just worked from home for that and then met up with them trick or treating. She conked out in the middle of it. I am so glad my friend Kim let me borrow the costume. I wasn't going to get her one until I remembered about the trick or treating around campus and I felt bad that we even had a costume. Of course Friday night, I took the kids normal trick or treating. Oh and that afternoon I had to make a trip to the dr. Laney was congested and coughing and I am glad I did because she was working on a chest infection/bronchitis. Today we had a birthday party. Parker cracked us up. The magician held up some cards and asked the kids what kind of cards they were and my kid loudly said "Poker cards." The adults fell out laughing and I said yeah, that was mine. Jason watches those icky world series of poker stuff on tv.
Anyway, we had a fun week! Enjoy all the pictures from the week!!
Parker at the Halloween carnival. He was suppose to be a skeleton but he grew in a month and it was too tight so he was a transformer.

Is this not the cutest little cowboy you have ever seen?
This time he wanted me to take his picture smiling!
