No Tears!

Well at least not from Parker. Can't say the same about me. I could not help it. I teared up as soon as I walked out the door and Jason was putting Parker into the car. My baby just looked so cute in his uniform all ready for school. He was so excited and had a great day. I still can't believe he is almost 5. Seems like yesterday on that Valentine's Day I sat at work not working but thinking oh my gosh, I am probably pregnant. I could not wait till after work to get to that drugstore! And Jason was so excited, he was beside himself. Then I remember the first time I saw him when they put him on my chest after delivery. So sweet! They just grow up too fast! Laney is good. She had her first days at daycare too. She did great and the ladies are so sweet. No tears with that. I guess it is so different with your second! Been there, done that and I know she will be ok!

I might cry though tomorrow. Still debating. Most of you know that Jason's birthday is tomorrow. There is a big golf tournament at the casinos and our friend Michael has gotten us a free room for the night but Laney is not even 5 months old! Parker was 20 months old before I left him for one night! She is sleeping through the night and I will only miss 2, maybe 3 feedings or so and I have pumped enough milk to leave for her, I am pretty proud of my supply lately! I was getting worried I would have to supplement soon but pumping is going well. So anyway, should I go or not? This is what is different about the second, with Parker there is no way I would even be considering this when he was 4 months old! I guess I know Laney will be just fine. My mom is great with her. My sister and her new man are going to take Parker to Chuck E Jesus (as Parker calls it). He is excited and won't care where Momma and Daddy are!
Here are some pics of Parker on his first day of school!

Parker with his new backpack. I am a mean mommy and this and super hero underwear are about as close to wearing super hero stuff he can get. I thought this backpack was on the tasteful side and ok!

Parker ready for school.

Ready to go!! (As momma wipes away tears!)

Parker ran right in and started playing!!

Parker and sister ready for school this morning!

Laney Napping just now. Her favorite position..butt in air! Had to show the too cute panties too!

Well I say go on the trip! She will be fine and you will have a gret time! I had to laugh out loud at the Chuck E Jesus! HAAAAAAAAA too cute! I will cry when Syd starts school too. It seems like we JUST had them. I can't believe they are almost 5. Parker is such a little stud. I love Laney's little bloomers. They are too cute with the "L" on them!!

O My Goodness Laura!
I didn't even know you were here in bloggy land! I'm so glad you found me. Your babies are just precious! Do you ever see any of the girls? I'm sadly addicted to blogging as well. I can't help myself. I will have to add you to my blog roll, so I can visit more often. ~Blessings!

Hey!I just got through reading through your posts. Laura, I am so sorry to hear about the struggle and loss y'all have faced with your children. Bless you. But, I am glad that y'all have finally been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. There are so many things we're going to have to ask the good Lord about when we go home, because it's truely beyond our understanding. How comforting to know that you had Millie (or should I say, you had each other) durring this challenging time. I am so glad God has been gracious to both of you and is healing your hearts little by little through your precious little blessings! God bless you both. Giver her a great big hug for me on Friday. And Please keep in touch! ~Blessings!
