Busy Week!

Our week started off with a parent meeting at Delta State for Laney. She starts daycare next week. I am not really worried since I know those ladies are wonderful. We really are lucky here to have a center like Delta State here and one that is so cheap! I know people around here don't think so since it is the most expensive one here but when I was paying $700 a month when we lived in Memphis for Parker when he was a baby 5 years ago, $390 a month seems like a steal! The next day, we had a parent meeting for Parker. I still can't believe he will start 4K on Thursday. You would think I am most sad about Laney starting but I am not at all! It will be Thursday when I send my baby off to big boy school will I be in tears! Wednesday and Thursday were pretty normal with work and all and then Friday I took Laney for her 4 month appointment. She has slimmed up a bit and is not as chubby as she was. She was 14 pounds and 12 ounces and 25 inches long. I looked back at Parker's baby records and he was almost 16 pounds at the same age. At 2 months she was 1 pound bigger than he but I guess she has slowed down. He was still eating once in the middle of the night at that age and she is a much better sleeper than he was. She sleeps through the night most the time. And when I say sleep through the night I mean like lastnight down at 8pm up at 7am. I was not that lucky with Parker! He is a great sleeper now though! After our appointment we went by and saw my mom. She had to show her off her her teachers. Then we went for a visit with Lesley, Lucy Kate and Bryant. Bryant was such a sweetie and Laney just smiled and cooed at him. I think they liked each other. Lucy Kate just wanted to be held and go to sleep. She did give Laney a smile too though! They were all so cute. I have added a picture of them and if you think it is hard to get a good picture of one baby, you should try 3- 4 month olds! It was fun visiting and talking baby stuff! While we were out, Dana took Parker to Wal Mart to pick out a toy for being good and he got to eat in the McDonalds in Wal Mart and visit the arcade in there. He told me he went to the Magical Wal Mart. I NEVER let him go in that arcade. I always tell him its broken or something. He even picked out a toy for Laney..her first babydoll! How sweet! Today, Parker was invited to a birthday party. Jason thinks I am crazy for taking him to every birthday party there is but hey this is the delta and there is not much going on to do and Parker gets SO excited about birthday parties. When he knows there is one to go to, as soon as he gets up he starts talking about going to the party. Today's party was a Spider Man party. Parker is at that age too where he LOVES all the super heroes. It was so cute, they had a real Spider Man that was so good with the kids. They had all kinds of games they played mucsical chairs, potato sack races, ring toss, bowling and other games. Parker had a ball and did not want to miss a game! He even won a few. The funniest was when they put marshmallows on a plate and put whip cream on top. They had to move the marshmallows from one plate to another using their mouth. Parker was hilarious and even picked up 3 at one time with his mouth! He won and I was in tears laughing so hard! He too was his usual social self talking to everyone and saying all kinds of stuff. One of the Momma's said to me "There is no way your little girl will be this outgoing, he is so cute". Then the Momma of the little boy whose birthday it was called us to thank us for bringing Parker and how her family could not get enough of Parker. He was not bad today at all just so into every game and just talking to everyone saying all kinds of stuff. Everywhere we go, people ALWAYS end up knowing Parker. I don't know where he gets this from! I have to say it has to be from my sister. She never meets a stranger either. And the new big thing..Laney started cereal! She is not quite sure about it yet. That pretty much sums up our week! Now here are some pics!
