The past few weeks have gone by so quickly. Parker went to stay 5 days with his Nanny and Butch in Missouri. He was suppose to stay a week and a half but got really home sick for his Momma so we had to go meet them in Jonesboro Arkansas to pick him up. Sweet boy was so sweet and happy to see us! He had a great time though...they went floating on the river (canoeing), fishing, he went to bible school and just had a good time with them. It was so odd having just Laney around. One kid is EASY!! I know when you have just one you don't think so
but when you go from 2 to 1 you can tell a big difference! I missed not having Parker around to help out and weird to have the house cartoonless for a week! Parker when he got back was his same old funny self. He made me crack up 2 times till I cried. We took him to the dr. for the rest of his shots and the dr asked him if he had kissed any girls to stay away from them. He said, "What, I have never kissed a girl in my entire life"...he said it very southern especially the life. It was so funny. Then on the way home his daddy asked him about it and he said "I can't kiss a girl till I am 15!" I liked the way he was thinking and I said..how about 18? He said..ok 19. I said Deal!! LOL!! The next night he started this thing where he told me not to look when he was naked. I said "Why can't I see you naked anymore?' He said "Women are not suppose to see men naked" I said well can men see women naked? He said yes. I said "Why can men see women but women can't see men? He looked at me so serious and said "Because Men are HIDEOUS looking and women are not." I just lost it. Silly kid...where does he get this from??? On a serious note that night he had shots he had the most awful reaction to one of them. He was itching his head and Jason told him to go take a bath. He did and he came in and told us he had bumps on in. I thought he meant a knot from where the shots were but no, he had hives ALL over him. On his thighs they were clustered one on top of another and then had them all over his arms, chest, stomach, neck face and he was itching like crazy. Benedryl and a steroid they gave him at the ER cleared it up after an hour or two but it was awful! I never have seen anything like it!

During this week I let Laney watch Sesame Street which she seemed to love. She loves Elmo! She has really become quite the character in the past month. She says so many words now...Eat, rain, baby, dink (this means drink) and lots of other things. She while Parker was gone got what we thought was the stomach virus but it lasted way longer than that! It ended up being bacterial...not sure from what but our water did go under a boil water notice that same day she came down with it along with pretty much her entire daycare class. It was awful..throwing up one day..the other the next then she seemed fine then the throwing up started again on the 3rd day then the other thing on the 4th day! 2 weeks later her diapers are finally back to normal. She had no fever or acted like she felt bad so that was a plus. Anyway, besides that Laney is just so much fun right now with her little dancing, laughing and playing with Parker and copying everything she sees! She is so funny if she hears the Spongebob theme song....she stops what she is doing and starts to dance...it is so funny! She is into climbing anything too. She climbs in drawers, tries to climb in and out of her bed. She fell out of her bed one time..scared me to death! She climbs in her bassinet that now is home to her dolls. She is a mess! Parker never ever was this much of a mess at this age! We still would not trade her for the world though..it is what makes Laney Laney!
Below you can see what she got into...after I had my shower I went for the q-tips and got the water out of my ears...not 2 seconds after I did this and walked to my room and back to the bathroom, I find Laney with these.........
She is so happy with herself!!! See Mommy I can do it too! Now I can't keep her out of the q-tips!

She loves to get in here with her babies! Hard to believe this was her bed for 4 months!

Soo cute!Kids say the funniest things don't they?! That is so sweet that your lil' man missed you so much. It's nice to be missed. Both of mine were Sesame Street addicts. And still are to an extent. They both loved Elmo, but Trey is more of a Big Bird fan, and Anna Grace is all about Abby-Cadabby, and Ernie too. So Sweet!!
